Welcome to Farm
Welcome to the homestead, where the goats gossip louder than the wind, and the chickens have opinions about everything! Here, every corner is sprinkled with a dash of quirky charm and a splash of mischief. Our vegetable patch is not just a patch; it's a little jungle of cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, corn and more, doing their best impression of a wild party.
Meet the goats, those lovable rascals who think the world is their personal playground. They’ll nibble on your shoelaces if you're not careful, but they’ll also warm your heart with their silly antics.
Each sunrise brings new adventures. Whether it's chasing a runaway chicken or an escaped goat there's never a dull moment around here. Embrace the chaos, grab a garden spade, and dive into the delightful madness of homesteading life!
Pops, Nana and Eddie moved to the homestead the end of 2021 from central Florida. Pops is a retired law enforcement officer, Nana a registered nurse, and Eddie is their son who has been gifted with Downs Syndrome.
Knowing little to nothing about farm life, we dove in head first. We planted our first vegetable garden and bought six baby chicks from our local Rural King. Within a year we added eight goats (six of whom were pregnant). We currently have nineteen goats, eighteen laying hens and one rooster.
